Talya's Rebellion
Talya's Rebellion is a turn based RPG that I created as my final project for my Computer Science. Players take control of Talya (and two other characters) on a mission to defeat their foes! I was inspired by Pokemon and Final Fantasy and I just generally love turn based games, which led me to this projects creation.
This project took a lot of time, patience, and information I learned throughout the class. I'm proud to say that (besides) the art, I was able to successfully create this project without using an outside sources besides a bit of back tracking on the skills I learned from the class slides. I had multiple states, one for controlling the main menu, overworld, battle, victory and losing screens, and two states for controlling the battle sequences and the menu functions.
